-Provide appropriate security for our service dog applicant's PHI. 
-Protecting the privacy of our applicant's medical records. 
-Provide applicant with access to their medical portion of their application. 
-Maintaining applicant's information in compliance with national standards.

Disclaimer:  The Shelter Dogs For Veterans (SDFV)program only trains dogs selected from kill shelters by our certified dog trainer and does not certify dogs that are already trained by another individual or organization. 
​This policy not only ensures that you receive the right canine partner to fit your needs but it also saves the life of a shelter dog.
